Further to being asked “do you want rice?” the other day, I’ve now been asked “do you want a cup of tea?” by someone who has known me for my entire life and that the answer to both of these questions has always been “yes.”
“do we need rice?” as if the answer will ever be anything other than “yes”
Trying to figure out if this Christmas card is from my neighbour, her partner and her cat OR if she now has two cats instead of a partner.
Some GENIUS replaced the thread loops on the christmas tree baubles at some point with garden wire and it is SO EASY and then it is easy to remove afterwards!

Looking back in my last.fm account and apparently I saw Muse in 2009 in BIRMINGHAM when I NO LONGER LIVED THERE???
I do not remember seeing them AT ALL, although there are old reminder emails I’ve sent myself from my work address around then saying to bring Muse CDs to lend my work colleague and what time she’s coming over on the day of the concert (3.30pm). I mean… she must have bought the tickets since I don’t have those emails but???
The venue had their support listed as “Beautiful Listens” everywhere and it was mildly entertaining to find out that they’re really “Enjoyable Listens” and they have a kind of what if Gabriel Bruce was a slightly eccentric English man.
Sleep Token on Tuesday night were AMAZEFACE. I discovered that their support Bilmuri’s name is pronounced “Bill Murray”” which in hindsight makes more sense with their vibe.
Last night I saw Electric Six who turn out to be great live and have 15 albums – who know? Other than lots of people obvs but this is what happens when I buy tickets in March for a gig in December for a band who I only really listened to 20 years ago.
Ehhh the plan had been to re-dye my hair on Wednesday and then I rescheduled that to today but I’m still not feeling it. Maybe next Friday
Listening to a podcast and once again, as much as I enjoy this podcast, why are the episodes so long.
(I know why they are long, I’m on the patreon so I get extra talking on top of the regular talking and it IS interesting just… maybe it could be two episodes instead of one or tbh maybe 3 episodes)
