I feel like I really need to finish a book, but lately it’s been very “no finish, only read”

Interesting to read about things from the newsletter writer side. On my part, I unsubscribed from all the newsletters on Substack I had been following some time ago.

Finally figured out why there was a burst of kudos on fics I wrote ages back and it turns out the fandom got recced (but not the media lol)

This tells me NOTHING about what might happen in the story Kobo, please stop doing this

Social media showing me adverts for a film that I already saw weeks ago part 3853: Rose of Nevada

This is usually fine because I enjoyed the film but this one was kind of bleurgh and disappointing overall

Having been on last.fm for over 20 years at this point, it’s both a blessing and a curse to be able to go and listen to the profile radios of friends no longer on the planet

Anyway today I discovered that the racist lecturer from my first year at university is dead now, so lol wild to read the tributes from people who I guess just were white

I’ve enjoyed reading Mike’s articles in various places online for years and now his writing arrives in my inbox because his newsletter is on a platform that isn’t the terrible one.
