If you could get someone in your life to start a blog, who would it be and why?
I think I would get some of my family in Malaysia to start blogging because then it would be easier to keep up to date with what's going on there. I have been considering starting a site for the family with a gallery and blogging software so that everyone can post updates and keep in touch better, but I don't know if everyone would use it.

If you could open any sort of restaurant, what would it be like?
I think it would be pretty small and have delicious healthy food that still has butter and fat in it and things. I don't know really. All the food I like… but if I had to pick one kind of food to make it less random and crazy, I guess it would be portuguese food, though I don't really know how to cook it myself.

I can't say that I was expecting the ending…which is always good for a film. Especially one nearly ten years old! The idea of a glass church is really cool though and the one in the film is very pretty. When I read about the church on the back of the dvd box, I had a very different picture in mind of a glass church – though one that would probably be very impractical and difficult to build. On a miniature scale though… it might be nice. 🙂
I've just noticed the spellcheck options with this. They're far more useful than the livejournal spellcheck interface. Perhaps they'll implement this in livejournal. Although I'll probably discover that they already have and it's just that I don't use the rich text thing because it doesn't work great in Opera.
I guess the good thing about Vox is that it gives you things to write about if you cannot think of any… and it makes talking about media very easy.

Wow. That's a hard one. I think I would have to choose "speak any language" because unless I somehow lost my fear of performing in front of people the "play any instrument" would only have a limited use. If I could speak any language though, I could talk to so many people in so many places. I could visit museums and stuff and understand what stuff was about without losing the nuances that go when something is translated. I could read so many books and things.
Plus, I could get a kick-ass, well paid translating job. 😀

What was your favorite candy when you were a kid? How does that compare to now?
I used to really love those sort of peach flavoured fizzy gum things. I still like them, though I don't think I've had them in a long long while. I still like cola bottles. I guess the only thing that's new is the tangfastic gum things that are sour and fizzy, but that's because they weren't invented when I was a kid.
Mmm sweets. And chocolate.
