[+] At least I’ve already done the reading and I started a week before the deadline.

[-] I’ve not written a proper essay since my GCSEs. Oh about SEVEN years ago.

Well, apart from a rant about data retention thinly disguised as an essay that I had to put on hold halfway through while I wrote a strongly worded essay on the stupidity of it all to my MEP.

My laptop just brazenly lied to me, claiming that I had 8 free USB ports. I only have 4 on my laptop and two are taken by my mouse and fan.

Although on the plus side, I’ve discovered that the USB ports on the hub on the fan actually work, unlike previously thought when my old laptop was working. Although that’s only adding two to take up the two used up by the fan and the mouse. And they’re not USB2.0.

No more unplugging the mouse to charge my mp3 player or plug in my camera! 😀 Woo.

So, today is my mum and dad’s anniversary – they’ve been married for 26 years now. Last year, I told them to go to Menorca for a week (where they had spent their honeymoon) and… just sent a card.

Of course this year, they’re still here because it’s not one of those big shiny type anniversaries. I tried to order flowers to be delivered today about a month ago, but the interflora site was having none of it. No idea why.

Anyway, I got them ordered last week and they arrived right on time today! And my mum and dad are delighted 😀
