What problems do you have with your fridge? (if more space is needed, use a comment)

  • It’s too cold sometimes so my food freezes.
  • Keeping the icemaker line filter attached
  • The milk was frozen this morning! >:O Also, the doors aren’t magnetic, just the side. What’s with that?!
  • it’s not big enough to accomodate 5 people. this is especially true for the freezer.
  • It makes loud noises & sometimes you have to slam the door for it to close right.
  • The door not shutting and a lack of alarm to tell us
  • it needs cleaning and the top shelf is too high for me
  • Keeps going off when the power meter runs out
  • the door shelf has fallenapart :-)
  • A Jehovah’s Witness keeps rotting food in it
  • Overstocking, out of date food
  • none as of yet
  • Not enough space for upright stuff (bottles, etc); not enough compartments to stop bowls being knocked over (bowls, etc);
  • Not enough room! Stuff goes off all the time!!
  • It is too small, the space is not well organized, and it smells funny.
  • forgetting about things in it so they go off/you buy more then realise you already have the stuff.
  • Not big enough, sometimes water collects on the bottom
  • The light inside doesn’t work
  • Difficulkties in estimating amount of space, always buy slightly too much food to fit comfortably
  • too cold in some places, hard to see everything in it
  • people put meat on top of my fruit and vegetables, and it drips- urgh! not enough space for bottles/cartons.
  • It works well enough, but is filthy.
  • I think it works fine, really.
  • The light is always broken, anything near the back gets frozen, and it is WAY too small
  • It freezes stuff
  • it leaks :( also smells
  • None
  • there’s the main fridge which is the average size for the upper compartment on an upright fridgefreezer. Except half the freezer area is a damn fridge drawer for the salad >.
  • Too small, food gets lost at back, freezer box frosts up too quickly
  • it’s too easy to knock the temperature knob and then your lettuce freezes!!!
  • Dad keeps eating everything. :-P
  • None except space.
  • It freezes at the top when it shouldn’t…
  • Possibly more space
  • lack space, unidentified items usualy green or brown

What addied functionality would you like in a new fridge? (if more space is needed, use a comment)

  • Tells me when food is about to go off.
  • A way to monitor the status of the water filter, and a way to remove it without moving the fridge
  • larger meat drawer, less wasted space BETWEEN drawers.
  • um.. if things are too close to the back of the fridge they get frozen. aside from space this is the only problem.
  • I would like my fridge to be environmentally friendly and to shoot lasers.
  • A reminder for best before dates
  •  i want one of those huge fridges with double doors, all fresh and shiny
  • A built in uninterruptable power supply
  • unbreakable shelves
  • A sensor to detect abandoned items
  • Diet counter
  • possibly just more space :)
  • Standy-up space, compartments, some sort of dranage facility so gunk gathers somethere easy to reach & clean, internal thermometer,
  • TV in the front for food-porn.
  • larger, with more adjustable shelving to accomodate large drink containers etc.
  • not sure
  • More space for fruit juice cartons
  • It should tell me what I can’t see at the back
  • I want a fridge that can tell me how much stuff to buy without running out of space
  • Strip lighting at the back to increase visibility might be good…
  • calorie counting according to what enters and comes out of fridge…:)
  • I am not sure
  • Hrm. I think more specific compartments, like I have a meat/cheese drawer, and you can choose which you want in there. There should just be a meat one and a cheese one.
  • Maybe a fridge that warns you 1 or 2 days before something is going to go off.
  • Ice maker
  • A reliable temperature gauge
  • no leaking. extractor fan. FREE FOOD.
  • Tell me when the milk is off
  • Accurate temperature controls. Indicators or whether moving dial/pressing buttons is making it colder/warmer (not just changing numbers! – like – is 1 the coldest setting, or least intense cold setting)
  • easier to clean somehow?!
  • Better inside-door shelves.
  • Drawers instead of shelves
  • A brighter light
  • food tagged as it goes in so you knows who owns it
