So, the power is off in the house again and there’s someone downstairs fixing the lights now. At least this time I got some warning and duly turned off my hard drives.

My room is now bizarrely quiet without them and the fan that sits under my laptop going. Ho hum.

Most annoying thing today? Losing an earring and only being able to find the back.

Made more annoying by the fact that I do not wear pairs of earrings, but pairs of pairs and now have….3 matching earrings.

dear god.

the house just started vibrating to the strain of “Billie Jean”. VIBRATING.

how do i know? I’m upstairs in the opposite side of the house and my room is shaking ever so slightly.

it’s only taken, what? 5 months for my dad to finally connect the speakers and sub-woofer for his no longer new hifi in the living room.

Little-known actor Chris Pine has been chosen to play the young Captain Kirk in the new Star Trek movie.

Chris Pine was in the AWESOME film Smokin’ Aces. He was pretty good in it. I’ve not seen anything else he’s been in though.
