Anyone know about gallery2 and using the url rewrite module to allow hotlinking from some places and not from others?

Ideally, I’d just block places one by one as they annoyed me by doing it too much - but it seems that url rewrite would block everywhere and allow only places I specify. Which is the SENSIBLE option I know. But I don’t want that.

Plus each time I fiddle with it to do that anyway, I can’t quite get it to do what I want. Like… I want any journal on livejournal to be able to hotlink (because really, people will be seeing stuff on their friendspages), but I don’t want random forums that I can’t understand to.

It’s one of those things, I guess, that I don’t care enough about to ACTUALLY do something about right away, but is on the list of “to figure out one day”.
